E-Light hair removal is the next step in the evolution of laser hair removal. This technology increases the safety and effectiveness of treatments. When selecting hair removal program, a high intensity light is emitted in flashes of short duration. These flashes change into heat and make the hair bulb atrophy permanently. E-Light is effective regardless of the amount of melanin in the treatment area and is suitable for most skin types. It is also safer and more comfortable for the patient as it is a painless treatment. The emission of light pulse is modulated, making it easy to apply.

E-Light laser and Super Sonic hair removal are highly effective methods for unwanted hair removal. Here are some of the benefits of each method:

Benefits of E-Light Laser Hair Removal:

  1. Reduced discomfort: E-Light laser technology combines the use of light and radiofrequency energy to target hair follicles, making the process less painful than traditional laser hair removal methods.
  2. Safe for all skin types: E-Light laser is safe for use on all skin types, including darker skin tones.
  3. Quick treatment sessions: Treatment sessions are typically quick and can be completed in as little as 20 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area.
  4. Long-lasting results: E-Light laser hair removal provides long-lasting results, with many patients experiencing permanent hair reduction after a series of treatments.

Benefits of Super Sonic Hair Removal:

  1. Faster treatment times: Super Sonic Hair Removal uses high-frequency sound waves to target hair follicles, allowing for quicker treatment times.
  2. Less discomfort: Super Sonic Hair Removal is typically less painful than traditional laser hair removal methods.
  3. Safe for all skin types: Super Sonic Hair Removal is safe for use on all skin types, including darker skin tones.
  4. Long-lasting results: Super Sonic Hair Removal provides long-lasting results, with many clients experiencing permanent hair reduction after a series of treatments.

Overall, both E-Light laser and Super Sonic hair removal are extremely effective methods for hair removal and offer many benefits. However, the best method for you will depend on your individual needs and preferences.

Benefits of E-Light: Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and Radio Frequency

This appliance is an E-Light system , because it includes three advanced technologies that combine to deliver very effective treatments, without sacrificing comfort.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a special type of light, similar to the laser, but with superior performance. The IPL uses a specially designed lamp to generate a source of high intensity light, which through a given filter changes its characteristics for different treatments.

IPL uses a broader spectrum of light and it is less invasive than laser, so can be used in different body parts and different treatments.

Radiofrequency (RF) is a noninvasive technique that raises the temperature of the deep layers of the skin, changing the structure of collagen and allowing skin cells to regenerate.

RF generates an electromagnetic field between two poles, passing through the deepest part of the skin, resulting in cellular movement, raising the temperature. Thus, RF complements IPL, expanding the treatment effect.

Finally, a cooling system makes the treatment more pleasant. The portion of the applicator which is in contact with the skin cools its outermost layers, soothing it and reducing the sensation of heat.

Aftercare

Laser hair removal treatments introduce focused energy from intense pulsed light or laser light to the pigment of hair follicles thus causing damage preventing or reducing re-growth. Although the procedure is tested, FDA approved, safe and effective there are possible side effects and risks post treatment. Let’s talk about what to expect after a laser hair removal appointment.

Most experience no adverse effects after the laser hair removal procedure. However, you may have some sensitivity and there are best practices to ensure the most effective results. To care for your sensitive treated skin, we’ve compiled a list of 10 common recommendations for post treatment skin care. Talk to your provider before treatment so you can ask questions and understand what is normal and abnormal after a laser hair removal treatment.

Avoid the sun for 7 days after the procedure

Avoid topical sunless tanning products for 7 days

If the skin is sensitive or irritated you may use over the counter (OTC) medicine such as Tylenol

If a blister appears contact your provider for direction, but in most cases you may apply an antibiotic ointment to the area until healed

Avoid any other type of skin treatment for 2 weeks after the procedure

Put sunscreen on daily, of you are going to be in the sun - at least 30+ SPF

Gently exfoliate the area in the shower

Do not wax, pluck or otherwise remove the hair by force, shaving is allowed

Due to skin sensitivity avoid excess heat for 24-48 hours such as hot showers, saunas, hot tubs, or heat packs

Avoid make-up, deodorant, or other topical creams or medications for 24 hours

Treatment is delivered in a series of sessions (usually from 4-6 over several months). The actual treatment delivers laser light or intense pulsed light (IPL) or heat energy directly to the hair follicle causing damage that slows or prevents future growth. Though the technologies employed differ, the basic concept is that the light targets dark matter (the actual hair follicle). The energy of the light is focused and absorbed by the follicle causing specific damage to the area while not heating up the surrounding tissue.

Laser hair removal is the permanent reduction of hair growth. What does this mean exactly?

This means that although laser treatments with these devices will permanently reduce the total number of body hairs, they will not result in a permanent removal of all hair. It intended to effect stable, long-term, or permanent reduction’ through selective targeting of melanin in hair follicles. Permanent hair reduction is defined as the long-term, stable reduction in the number of hairs re-growing after a treatment regime, which may include several sessions…Permanent hair reduction does not necessarily imply the elimination of all hairs in the treatment area.“
